RFID Solutions

TLF Graphics now offers large and small firms affordable RFID compliant solutions!

RFID tagging allows material to be tracked by radio frequency waves. RFID "Smart Labels" can be read simultaneously by a single receiver! RFID readers, without line of sight, can automatically identify and track tags without human intervention. Costs are dramatically reduced, losses are minimized, time is saved, and accuracy is achieved.

The Department of Defense and many large retail firms are now requiring suppliers to be RFID compliant with their shipments. The demand for RFID compliant labeling grows daily.

Solutions For Companies Small & Large

For larger companies, TLF Graphics offer RFID solutions, providing all the equipment as well as supplies and training needed to become RFID complant. For smaller customers with limited RFID shipping needs, TLF Graphics offers RFID On-Demand. If you need just a few labels, or if you need a few thousand, call TLF Graphics or send us an e-mail!

Requirements for DOD RFID Compliance:

RFID Tags / Labels
An RFID Tag (Radio Frequency Identification Description) must be placed on each exterior container (case) and pallet as specifically required on defense contracts. (In 2007, this requirement expanded to include unit containers for UID-marked items.) The RFID Tag may be applied directly to packaging or embedded in labels such as the exterior container label or Military Shipment Label.

RFID Tag Verification
Each RFID tag must be verifiable at time of shipment. Quality Assurance Representatives (QARs) may require on-demand demonstration of RFID tag readability as a condition acceptance.

WAWF Data Entry
The contents of each RFID-tagged container and their relationship to each other (UID in case or pallet) must be communicated to Wide Area WorkFlow (WAWF). This may be accomplished at time of shipment via manual data-entry into the WAWF web Application or Transmission of an FTP Update File.
